About Me!

My name is Naaz Khan and I am a high school senior. I plan to attend Loyola University next year to receive a bachelor's degree in Biological Science while being on the pre-medicine track. I was interested in pursuing research because it allows you to apply science concepts you've learned to real life issues. For example, my great grandfather suffered from Parkinson's Disease and this research project allowed me to utilize the material I learned in my AP Biology class to understand it better. This class allowed me to learn about my topic in depth and master every aspect related to the role of denatured proteins and Parkinson's Disease.
